15 month showing interest in the toilet, is it too early?

So for the last 2 months my daughter will go into the bathroom and shut the lid if it’s open and flush the toilet too. She hides when she has to go number two and will say yes if you ask her if she pooped. The last two mornings she’s woken up dry but this morning she went right into the bathroom and grabbed the lid of the toilet and said “please” and tried to take off her pants. I just kind of laughed it off like “yeah like you know what to do” and as I pulled her pants off she wanted her diaper off, she peed between her bedroom and the toilet but I sat her on the toilet for about 30 seconds before she asked to get down. Am I crazy to start potty training her? She hasn’t shown much more interest in it since then, which was about 2 hours ago. Should I wait to start until there’s a little more interest?

No, it is not too early.
My mum ptty trained all her kids between year and year and a half mark. If kid is interested, why not try.

I potty trained myself at 18 mos. My mom said I just literally told her "no diapy" and she wass VERY skeptical. I didnt have any accidents until I was older (like 5 or 6) from having too much liquid before bed ahahaha and being too tired to get up to pee. 😂 it only happened 2 times.
So some kids are just very extra observational and learn quickly! Id say go for it and have one of those plastic mattress covers on the bed under the sheets in case accidents do happen.

My coworker had her daughter potty trained by 16 months. She was very in tune with her body and started to show interest around 15 month. She would tell her mom when she was about to pee because she wanted a new diaper immediately. It was wild to see, but she was successful doing it so young

From what my daughter's pediatrician said 15 is a little too early as most kids aren't ready until 18 months at the earliest but definitely get her a potty! Or one of those attachments that go on the regular toilet. I asked tense questions at her 18 month appointment. She said that baby being dry overnight has nothing to do with showing signs of being potty trained and that it's a chemical in the brain that didn't get the signal to pee overnight. She said most kids aren't potty trained overnight fully until she's 5-7. My daughter is 20 months and just started showing interest in the toilet. I had a friend who's daughter was interested in potty training at 15 months like your daughter but she's still not close to being ready to actually start the process. Obviously every kid is different but I too was curious about potty training and stuff since I don't even know where to start with that besides buying the potty
