When did you move baby to their own room?

Okay mommy’s title says it all. When did you move your little one to their own room officially to sleep at night?
My babygirl is going on 8 months but I’m super nervous about it I’ve heard horror stories. (Mostly concerned for her safety).

We are thinking at 2 months to put him in his own crib. It’s either that or my husbands sanity 😂 I myself was the same age when I put in a crib in my own room. My sons room is really close by anyway so we could hear him cry (rather my husband) if something goes wrong with the monitor. Unfortunately I’m such a deep sleeper I don’t hear him and my husband has to wake me.

Once he was sleeping through the night around 6 months

We moved her to her own room at 3 months. I was starting back to work and she was starting to sleep through the night. We also used an owlet, which helped my anxiety. She was a great sleeper so it worked out for us.

My son slept in his room at day 1. His room is big enough for a bed and after my c-section I couldn't climb the stairs as easily every 2-4 hrs. Then after I healed about 3-4 months later I moved back to my room. He was fine with it. I think he liked it better when I slept in my own room. He got full nights of sleep and so did I.

My three years old still sleeps in our room. Don't stress about it. Let baby sleep in their own room when YOU feel ready. They are not going to be sleeping in your room forever, so don't worry.

My baby was about 8 months when I started putting him in his own room. We had a video+sound monitor I could watch to ease my mind.

Do it when you feel ready!  My son is almost 14 months and still in our room.  We’ll probably move him when he’s ready for a toddler bed
