Helping people in need

Question

Trying to think of a way to help people in need. I don’t have social media besides glow. But I somehow want to help people. Whether it be a family who needs groceries... children who need clothes...etc. how would I go about doing this? Obviously don’t want it to be a public thing for people to get embarrassed but just to take stress off of them when in need. If anyone has any recommendations it would be appreciated 😊 wasn’t sure where to post this.

We give to an out reach ministry at our church. We get involved in their lives and make a difference. We also help pay for food clothing ect. So maybe find a church near by

I used to work for a domestic violence agency, and we would get gift cards for the grocery store to give to clients in need. Super helpful. We also loaded up our van with food and dropped it off at the food bank. You can call your local food pantry and see what they need.

Ignore recommendation...My fiancé and I make goodie bags filled with snacks and water bottles and carry them in our car. We hand them out to people in need we come across on the street. Once the cold begins, we may start adding socks, beanies, and gloves.

Volunteer or make donations. Whether you donate food, money, or gifts, there are a ton of opportunities if you look for them!
