Convertible Car Seat?

My baby is 9 months old and for the last 5 months he usually cries the whole time we are in the car. I’m thinking maybe he just hates his infant seat. HELP!

We LOVE this seat. We got it on Black Friday last year and will get another for baby #2. It came recommended by our pediatrician because she used it for her kids. Plenty of cushion and reclining options, plus keeps them rear facing longer. We’re skipping infant seats entirely this time.

I only voted for Graco because I hate Chicco. They use way too many toxic chemicals in their products, unfortunately, so Graco is a slightly better choice. I still prefer other brands like Clek, Nuna, Britax, Uppababy, and Maxi Cosi.

I prefer to buy products with fewer chemicals when possible. Clek has greenguard certified fabrics and I love how my guy fits in the foonf. I really hate graco products and have no experience with chicco.

Depends on what you’re looking for. How long do you plan to rear face, what kind of car do you have?
As far as the chemicals someone posted about we get tons more chemicals from couches, mattresses etc in other areas of our lives. They’re not eating their car seat so it’s not really a huge concern for them of course it is environmentally wise but not for contact it’s just not that high of a risk considering all the other things we come in contact with daily. 
I believe the Graco you’ve chosen is the one that needs to be on a steeper recline if you decide to ff before they reach the rf capacity. So it can be kinda space consuming so I’d look at that if you don’t plan to rf as long as possible. 
My advice is to check the requirements for the Graco and decide if you’re going to do extended rf or if you’ll switch before they outgrow the rf limits. 
There’s a fb group called “car seats for the littles” and they give excellent help! They have child passenger safety technicians that are trained to help with installation/fit/seat choice it’s worth checking out!
