Is your kiddo potty trained at night?

We did the same as others, we never did night time pull ups just underwear. He was not waking up with wet diapers prior to potty training so we just decided why bother with the confusion. It has never backfired and he has not had an accident at night. If he needs to go he calls for us which is very rare. He’s been fully potty trained for 6 months now.

When we decided to potty train we went to fully underwear, all the time, nights and naps by the end of the first week. I didn’t want her to be confused on expectations and since she doesn’t pee in her sleep it was just a matter of reinforcing the same idea for day (pee/poo in the toilet) as early morning or waking through the night. Once she understood she needed to go on the toilet she only had a few night accidents in the beginning when she was too sleepy. Now she has occasionally gone pee in bed on purpose to stall bedtime 🙄 but that’s another story the past few weeks with a sleep regression we’re dealing with.

My son has been fully potty trained at 26 months. No pull up or diaper at night either. I made sure he will drink his milk half hour before bedtime and go potty before he go to bed. We got few accidents at night especially when he’s exhausted but he normally wakeup at night when he needs to go...by now hes doing good no accident so far.
