Labor at home as long as i can and birth at birthing center

I birthed at home a year ago and it was amazing, especially compared to our two previous hospital births 💕

I'm terrified of hospitals (not just cuz of Covid) lol. My home is too small and it would require me to get a lot of supplies which I didn't necessarily want to have to do. So I chose a Birthing center!! It has a private suite in a building separate from their clinic rooms and a bathroom/kitchen as well as the option to go in a birthing tub. They have all the necessary medical supplies and a team of trained midwives / doulas / birth specialist (many of them were doctors who just switched to this) to deliver and help with pain medication if I'd like too. They also are connected with the hospital so if I need to go there, the midwives will take me. I'm allowed 2 people in the room and they have a living room sort of deal set up for I think 2 more people. They will allow me to be there from the moment I start having contractions and am ready to deliver to about 6 or more hours after then I get to go home. It feels comfortable, safe, clean and homey ❤️ my insurance covers it too! Sending love and congratulations :)))
