2nd Baby period?

So my 2nd baby is almost 4 months old. I still haven’t had my period since I had her. Is this normal? With my first I went back on birth control at my 6 week appointment so I never had to opportunity to see what my body did. I’m just getting a little concerned

Are you nursing? When I nurse I don’t get a period until around 6 months and it’s still
Inconsistent for a few months after that 👍 I know people who go a year with no period because of nursing.

Yes, it's normal, especially if you're breastfeeding. With my first child I didn't get my first post partum period until 16 months. Even if you aren't breastfeeding it may take your body awhile to adjust given your hormones.

Like others have said it sounds pretty normal, especially with nursing 😊 it takes your body some time to get back to normal (even if you aren't nursing) I nursed but my period didn't come back until a couple months after I stopped (at 10 months PP) and then was super inconsistent for a few months after that.

Yes are you nursing ? Because I heard that nursing can delay period . I also had a coworker who knew she was pregnant but was still breastfeeding and every pregnancy test she took would come up negative. She had to get bloodwork and ultrasound done to confirm it and her doctor told her that it happens a lot in nursing woman .
