I posted an update to my leaking fluids post from yesterday but figured I’d post her birth story. I was 39w3d yesterday and felt fine all morning. Went to the bathroom, sat back down, farted (sorry TMI) and felt my underwear get wet. It was dripping down my leg and definitely not pee so we got to the ER around 11:00am and they confirmed it was my water that broke. Contractions started to show up after that and I went from a 4 to a 10 by 5pm. I pushed until 9:15pm and our sweet Nora came out at 7lb 1 oz. The epidural never worked on the right side of my body so it was brutal but it was all worth it for her!
