I went to my midwife booking appointment yesterday bearing in mind I'm nearly 9 weeks pregnant, very bloated and rock hard tummy, I wasn't weighed earlier on my pregnancy even though I saw her at 6 weeks! She decided to weigh me yesterday and use that weight as my normal prepregnancy weight which put my bmi 0.5 over what I should be normally even though my bmi prepregnancy was normal, iv been classed at high risk due to 0.5 on my bmi which means I have to give birth in a town over an hour away while there is a perfectly good hospital walking distance from my house!!
