How Bad Did You Tear?

If you have a tear, how bad was it? I think this is the second worst pain I've ever had, after the actual birth! Any tips for helping healing? (I have 3rd degree)

I had a third degree with my first and the peri bottle was dermaplast spray was my friend. I think the itching from the stitches was pretty awful too.
I had one stitch this time and lemme tell you... no local anesthetic bc she said it would’ve hurt just as much... shoving a needle into my clitoris and pulling a thread through it was enough for my to scream ‘mother fucker’ LOUDLY. I even told her it was worse than my entire labor and birth.

i had 3rd degree tearing. i gave birth 2 weeks and 2 days ago. healing wasn't so bad. i didn't have too much pain and didn't use pain killers. right now I feel great.

The hospital had ice pack pads, those helped a lot. Also keep witch hazel pads on the stitched are. I had 3rd degree with my son and it did heal fairly quick. Also take myralax instead of stool softener, you do not want a hard poop for awhile and the myralax was much better than stool softeners.
