How much water?

My baby turned 8 months today , i breastfeed him plus 2 meals a day and i would like to know how much water to offer? Im only give him water with his meals. Should i give him more water through the day? Thank you in advance

None. Babies don’t need water until they’re 1year. They get enough hydration from formula or breastmilk

My doctor said it’s good to give my daughter around 2oz to start with. My baby loves water.

My doctor said he can have up to 4 oz a day but honestly I just give him a sip here and there. We gave a supply cup that I fill up and he just plays with for now, sometimes he gets some water, sometimes he doesn’t. It’s totally not necessary yet so I’d trust your gut while still listening to your pediatrician
