How soon can I I drink again I just plan on having moscato. How should I go about drinking and breastfeeding I do mostly just pump due to latch issues im 3+ weeks postpartum. Should I just not drink at all ?

You can drink until you feel like you wouldn't be able to drive then you need to wait an hour to pump..otherwise if you have a little it filters out before you nurse

It's actually best to drink it while you are pumping or nursing, because it takes a while to get into your system. So, if you drink it during a session, it will be gone by the next session.

Get the alcohol test strips. They are on Amazon. You can have a drink, and then test your milk if you are worried about alcohol in it. No big deal. Super easy. You can the. Either pump and dump, or wait it out and wait for the alcohol to pass through you.

A glass of wine is fine. Any more than that you have to wait before you pump or feed! You need to wait longer if you have drank with a meal and the alcohol breaks down slower if had with a meal! Think it's 1hour without food and 3 hours with food! X x
