What's best for baby after circumcision?

Just want to make sure I have all my bases covered as this is my 1st son. I truly don't know what to expect so I just want to be ready for that!

Our hospital gave us way more petroleum jelly than we could ever have used. I think we came home with four tubes. I wouldn’t buy any in case they give you lots.

Definitely Vaseline! And we were told to apply it at every change, and to make sure we used enough. It should cover the tip in a good, protective, visible layer

I actually never tried Aquaphor for that purpose because my pediatrician specifically said to use Vaseline and that’s what they gave us in the hospital. We also used large square gauze pads to prevent it from rubbing on the diaper. It worked perfectly and my son was completely healed in about a week.
