Am I Overreacting?

I just started seeing this guy, we’re officially dating and yesterday we went with some of his friends to BWW to watch the dodger game. His friend went to use the restroom and came back and said “idk if I should say it who I just saw” he looks at me and then my guy and my guy automatically interested “WHO” his friend some girls name

My guy “she’s here??? Does she know I’m here??” His friend “no”

My guy- “why didn’t you tell her??? I would want to talk to her. Was she alone????”

His friend “yeah she was just picking up a order”

Him- “she better be, I would kick her ass if she was with someone”

At this point I’m just looking at the screen

And he whispers in my ear

“Don’t get jealous, that’s my homies baby momma”

If that’s all she is, why would he react and say those comments???

I even said why would your friend say “idk if I should say this” he said maybe his friend thought I’d get jealous.

I don’t care about no female, he knows I’m not the jealous type but the comments he was making while I’m by his side made me feel dumb.

I just felt so stupid hearing “she better be alone” like what? Excuse me. I’m right here.
