Hey guys. I will be 16 weeks on Monday and I am a hairstylist. I work on commission ( 40%) so I make no money if I don't have a client in my chair.. and lately I am not making much money. Hair is my passion but I am starting to get worried that I won't have the funds to take care of this baby. I wanted to really put away some money into savings so we are comfortable during my maternity leave and it has really scared me..so I went and applied for a job with Wells Fargo which offers 40 guaranteed hours a week at 14.42/hr plus benefits which I don't get at the salon. So I guess my problem is that I am conflicted. I went to school for this, have a passion and love going to work. So... Keep doing what I love but make barely anything or go take a job doing something I'm really not interested in but it guarantees we are better taken care of and prepared?? Opinions!
