The caffeine isn't the problem in energy drinks. Most of them actually have less than what you're allowed anyway. The problem is they have a TON of sugar and a lot of herbal supplements that aren't well tested. My doctor said the risks are from things like the taurine and other random ingredients. I know she says 5 hour energy is a specific no no and red bull as well. I've been allowed half a monster twice in 28 weeks lol. I miss them so much!
