Alright y’all, my partner and I had been friends for a couple years but only dating for like 20 minutes when I found out I was pregnant (ok it was about a month but you get the point). I have my first US tomorrow at 8w0d and we’re definitely excited, but the thing that keeps weighing on me is how to tell my parents. We’re in our mid 30s, financially stable, blah blah so it’s not like my parents haven’t asked me for over half a decade when they’re going to get grandkids, but I still worry they’re going to react like I’m an irresponsible teenager lol.

I keep thinking about how to drop the news to them because I would love to do something cute but Im also not sure if I should be considerate of the extreme shock that is surely going to accompany this and do more of like a press conference announcement lol.

Do y’all have any thoughts or ideas on how to announce/tell them?
