Bath?

Hi guys,
I got my Mirena inserted four days ago. Is it safe to take a bath? I've seen online to maybe wait a few days as the cervix closes back up, but nothing from a doctor. Did any of your doctors mention it?

Definitely wait, general rule is a month. Give a month for using tampons, baths/pools/hot tubs, unprotected sex to eliminate chance of infection. After that you will have your follow up check up, just make sure you're good to go!

My doctor never mentioned it. She said to just wait a week to have sex. & she also told me I could use tampons after a week. & that's what it says online.
