Thoughts on having first child (2) help tell her daddy about a 2nd pregnancy?

I love the idea of having my daughter help tell my husband about a BFP, but part of me thinks I should wait to get her excited until 12 weeks or later in case of a miscarriage. I have no history with miscarriages but it's still a possibility. Feeling torn.

I did with my oldest. She held a sign, but she didn’t find out because she couldn’t read it. 😂 I’ll attach the pic below.

I didn't tell my oldest (5) about the pregnancy until after the anatomy scan, i was hardly showing and didn't want him to get excited before I know everything was good, and the risk of miscarriage low.

It’s your husband. He needs to know. I wouldn’t tell many others until 12 weeks or so, but of course your husband and any support system you have should know right away.
