Adding a sibling.

I have a 6 year old who have been a single mom to his entire life, his “dad”left the minute I found out I was pregnant and it’s been just us ever since.

He knows nothing about his “dad” and he has nothing to do with his life.

I’m pregnant again, and the father of this baby will be in his/her life.

I’m worried about navigating that this child will have a dad and he doesn’t, I don’t want him to feel sad or less than his sibling.

Anyone been in a similar situation? How do you continue to handle that?
