Toddler girl feminine hygiene- advice?

Fellow girl moms- how do you be sure to keep your toddler daughters’ privates clean? My daughter is three and a half and has been fully potty trained over a year- we wipe her after she uses the potty and bathe her regularly, but we’ve noticed some redness around her vulva and some discharge/white residue (not in her underwear but on her vulva, still). No itchiness or discharge in her underwear, so I don’t suspect a yeast infection. The problem is, she won’t let us use a wipe to clean her more thoroughly, or a washcloth during baths. We want to respect her body and not use force, but obviously, she’s three and needs to be clean to avoid infection. Did you teach your daughter how to clean herself? Any tips? Thanks!
