The pill and pregnancy

My doctor prescribed me a birth control pill (she said it was the lowest dose) to help control my acne breakouts. If by any low chance I get pregnant while on the pill, and continue using the pill, could it lead to a miscarriage? I'm not pregnant I was just wondering incase I become pregnant and before I know I continue with the pills? Just curious. I'm not trying to get pregnant if it happens it happens I just wouldn't want to harm it. And so I know if I should just switch to acutain pills. Thank you!
