What does sherbet mean to you? (pictures in description)

A) a kind of sorbet

B) sherbet powder

As far as I’m aware sherbet refers to a kind of sorbet in America (originated from the dried citrus drink from the colonial era)
In the UK it refers to sherbet powder made with the same dried citrus method.
I don’t know about other countries except for the Indian, Middle Eastern drinks consisting of sherbet (sharbat and afroza etc...).

Sherbet contains dairy and sorbet does not. That’s the biggest way I describe how I see the differences.

I guess A. But thats a sorbet made with no dairy. 
Sherbert has dairy in it. 
Never knew the powder was also called it!
