Hey everyone,

So this is our rainbow baby. We had a miscarriage at 12 weeks, 3 years ago and since then have been battling infertility.

We’ve got our BFP about a month ago and I had my first appointment last week. We thought we were 8 weeks but we’re actually 6 weeks because of late ovulation.

All this to say I’ve been very anxious and scared to have a miscarriage again. But I have been taking active steps to protect my mental while we embark this journey of growing our miracle baby.

Anyway yesterday i started some spotting and was very concerned. It wasn’t enough to fill a pad, nor was it consecutive. But it was enough to get me crying and assuming we were losing this baby.

We went to the emergency room and found our baby is good. We are about 6 weeks and 5 days. Baby’s heartbeat was 131. And i have a bladder infection.

The doctor said right now I’m not miscarrying but he did say that there’s a slight chance i could have a miscarriage because i was bleeding. He didn’t seem to be worried, but I am.

Has this ever happened to anyone?

I’m currently on bed rest and just praying that baby sticks. Send us all the prayers.
