My sweet girl was due 10/30/20 but decided to come on 10/22/20.

I was sound asleep when my 2 year old starting making noise in the middle of the night. So I got up to pee, when I got into the bathroom I had a huge gush of fluid. My bladder control wasn’t that bad, so I knew it was time! We got to the hospital about an hour later and I was dilated to 5, and had an even bigger gush of fluid with the cervical check (think movie water break). I got my epidural about an hour later at 6cm. I had crazy pressure with every contraction so I got checked 2 hours later and was fully dilated and thinned. The pressure feeling and needing to push was crazy, I didn’t have that the first time. I pushed for 25 minutes and my second, face up baby girl came into the world. She was so calm! Let out a little cry and just snuggled me and looked around.

Baby came 7 hours after my water broke. Super quick In comparison to my first (28 hours).

Ivy Louise weighed 7lb 13oz and was 20.5 inches long.
