Milk Supply
I started back to work (I work from home and my LO is home with me) a few weeks ago. I still nurse on demand however I have noticed that she is eating her hands more often so I did a weight check. She has gained 2 pounds since she was 2 months old and she will be 4 months in a few days. She is still not double her birth weight. So I decided to try and pump after I fed her and I got 1/2 ounce (I used to get 2-4 after a feed). I am worried my supply if dropped. The pediatrician said to try supplementing formula if she still seems hungry but she absolutely refuses it to the point it is traumatizing her to where she is scared to eat at all including nursing.
I’ve been drinking water, Gatorade, eating milk makers cookies, and oatmeal and I am still only pumping 1/2 ounce after I feed her. Any tips or tricks? I also weighed her before and after a feed today and she got 2.5 ounces from me which seems little. I’m open for any advice at all. Thanks ladies :)
