Trying again after chemical - how long did it take?

Just needed to vent, and see if anyone can relate as I’m having a really hard day.

I’m TTC #2, and it’s been almost 7 weeks since my chemical pregnancy and I am desperate to try again (Dr said I didn’t need to wait), but I haven’t gotten my period, a positive ovulation test, or a positive pregnancy test and I am losing my mind 🙃

I spoke to a fertility specialist who wants to do a mid-cycle ultrasound to check my lining as a next step but I need my cycle to start to get that scheduled!! She said it can take 6-8 weeks for my period to return, but this just feels unbearable and everything I’ve seen on Glow seems like most people either had an on-time period or maybe a week late, not 2-3. Anyone else had anything similar happen or any words of advice?
