Can we take someone with us durinf drs visit?

Husband ask if he could go with me to a drs appointment. But i forgot to ask my drs office if he could. Have any of you taken anyone with you?

I would call and ask. With COVID a lot of offices aren’t allowing partners.

My hubs had to wait outside in the car and was only allowed to come in for the ultrasound portion of my appointments. Sad but this is unfortunately the new normal!!😒

Depends on the state and the clinics. Here in MN it is 50/50 mine won't allow it. However he can be facetime during appointments. Not the same but the closest he can get.

I don’t think so but than again I’m from Canada and I live in Mississauga my ob said only me at the appointments but when I’m delivering I’m for sure aloud to have one person .... this covid messed up a lot of things it sucks

I have been solo every time for US and appointments. The only time my husband came in was in May when our first pregnancy ended in miscarriage. I had to go in for the US alone, he waited in the car and after I found out alone that the baby was gone, they brought him in. But they didn’t tell him. So angry about that still. I had some bleeding this time around the same time we lost the first baby and they still made him wait in the car for the US. Thankfully we made it safely to the second trimester.

Before COVID yes but currently I can only take someone for ultrasounds. No one is allowed for regular appointments.

I would call because a lot of doctors are different. My doctor allows 1 person to go with you but everywhere else I know of you can’t bring anyone at all.

Mine could only come to ultrasounds, which was only 3 appointments. Other than that he’s not allowed in
