Cloth nappies?

Any1 used them and can tell me pros and cons? Also any brands you can recommend especially people based in the uk. Thanks in advance x

I've used them for both babies and plan to do so with the third. It's super easy once you get use to it. Even my husband uses them. It cost me around $500 for the first baby. That was five years ago. Every baby after has cost me about $10 a month since I already have all I need. The ten bucks covers the cost of disposables diapers and wipes for babysitters, travel, and nighttime sleep (I don't use cloth at night or when I'm out of my house). So as you can see it's so much cheaper to do cloth and the savings just add up with each child.
My suggestions:
1. Buy thirties wraps, and cheap indian cotton prefolds. The wraps are more expensive but I have NEVER had a leak. The prefolds are dirt cheap and clean and dry faster than all-in-one diapers. You can use snappies when the baby is tiny, but once you introduce solids you can skip the snappie and just fold the prefold in thirds. Super easy. Cloth moms often make the mistake of buying expensive cloth diapers, the point is to save money.
2. Get a diaper sprayer for the toilet.
3. Get fleece diaper inserts. This keeps baby feeling dry, and keeps your prefolds from staining.
4. Don't follow the instructions on the diaper detergent. You only need one scoop on cold cycle, then three scoops of baking soda on a hot cycle. Way cheaper, and I've never had to strip my diapers because of odor.

It seems overwhelming at first, but it's easy and cheap! And it saves the environment.
