😒😠 Grandchildren comparisons...

Do any of you experience this? I'm not even on my period but I feel extra annoyed with this lately... I try to video call my mother in law once a week but skipped last week because I feel like she's always comparing Rosalie to my brother in law's daughter who is five months older. I literally start to become offended. She'll ask how many spanish words she knows and if we're talking to her in Spanish because my brother in law ONLY speaks Spanish to his daughter and has her watching spanish shows etc. I get it. It's important for her to know it. Spanish is not my first language so english just comes naturally. Rosalie does know and understand some Spanish but when she "puts her on the spot" and tries to quiz her she won't answer. Last time she said "omg she doesn't say anything!". I was livid. Rosalie talks sooooo much, but because she didn't "talk" to her during the 7 min call she says that!? So....yea. End of my rant.
