Ovulation and cervical mucus

It is a very silly question but I’m trying to get a better understanding as my cervix has gone from soft to firm within a matter of hours but I’ve not had ewcm yet😳

If you bd everyday when fertile do you still notice the ewcm because I also didn’t notice any last month either all I’ve had is very wet discharge with a few streaks of sticky/tacky gloops? But no ewcm noticed at all and usually I notice it but I’ve also had sex every day or night on my fertile days for the past 2 months now so unsure if that is why I’ve not noticed it?
