I’m more than positive my baby girl has acid reflux. She spits up after nearly every feeding (which I know can be normal) but sometimes it is so uncomfortable for her and she spits up acid mixed with the milk. I know this because of the smell of acid from her mouth afterwards. I know she’s probably a lot less distressed by it than i think she is but its still horrible to see. Up until yesterday her weight gain had been slow but it does seem to have improved gaining 120g in just 2 days. However that’s not been easy! I spoke with GP who prescribed Gaviscon Infants. Anyone got any experience with this given to your new born? I’m reluctant to start using stuff like this but if it helps her then I will.
