Toddler and dog dish

For parents out there who own dogs and have toddlers at home, how do you keep your toddlers out of the dog dish? My daughter is 16 months old and loves to play with our dogs food and water dish, the other day I caught her washing the dogs water all over her face and hair 🤢 she likes to scoop handfuls of his food and try to feed it to him. I’m constantly taking her away from the dish but she always just goes right back to it. Our dog is a grazer too so he won’t eat his whole meal at once, so if I were to put the dish up he likely wouldn’t be eating enough. Any suggestions on what I can do? I’m worried she’s going to try to eat the food one day and choke or annoy the dog and get bit. He’s a French bull dog and very well mannered and amazing around kids so he hasn’t bit anyone yet but I know dogs can be unpredictable sometimes.
