Ive had exams before but I had to go in today because I had BV and I don’t think it fully went away so they wanted me to come in to make sure that it was BV and they are treating it appropriately and we aren’t even going to go into the stupid shit she said to me.. let’s just jump right into the exam.. now j thought I’d had a pap before but apparently not and she wanted to do one today because I’m in my twenties and I guess that’s when they start wanting to check for abnormal cells.. she didn’t tell me that that involved taking a scraping. It also wasn’t my regular doctor and my regular doctor tells me what she’s doing before she does it and we’ll she’s doing it, it makes me feel better and I really appreciate it, this butch today didn’t all of a sudden I’ve got this metal thing in me a q-tip thing poking my cervix and then came the scraping there was no warning now hey this may be rather uncomfortable no nothing and I’m just really annoyed I feel slightly traumatized and things she said has made my anxiety go through the roof. Has anyone else ever experienced a papsmear that was slightly traumatizing.
