IUD decision making!

Shelbie
Okay, so I have had my Mirena since I was about late 16/early 17. I am 20 now, and haven't really had any issues with my Mirena. I do, however, feel as though my body needs to cycle itself out. Does that make sense? Sorry for the epic TMI that's about to come, but when I have my period, it's brown, sticky, and smells awful. My doctor said that its nothing to worry about? But it bugs me. So I've been wanting to change out the Mirena for a little while, and get the Mirena or the Paragard. Now my problem is which one to get? Anyone with the Paragard have any suggestions or opinions? Thank you!
