Cramping no period after d&c

I had a d&c for missed miscarriage on 26th Sept. Was supposed to be 11w. It's been 4 and half weeks since, and been cramping since 5-6 days but no AF.. has anyone had cramping around the time you'd expect your period but then the period came only later.. I'm freaking out why my period hasn't started yet and I just can't calm down and keep crying all the time. It's so difficult
