Measuring Early??

Question

Needing some positivity.. 
Had my first ultrasound today. We went in thinking I was 7+4 but only measured 5+6?? I have PCOS and took letrozole so I confirmed ovulation with OPKs. Maybe just ovulated even later than I thought?
We did get to see a heartbeat of 101.
Any one else in the same boat or had the same experience? 
Going back next week for a follow up. 🌈❤️

Sometimes your LH can surge to try and get you to ovulate, but you don’t ovulate. Your body will then try again to ovulate later on with another LH surge. The LH surge is what opks detect. It’s very possible, especially with PCOS, that this will  happen causing you to ovulate late even though you thought you already ovulated! I wouldn’t stress. Babies also sometimes measure smaller in the beginning, and catch up a few weeks later. Either way, I wouldn’t worry. 😌 Congratulations!
