Drive Through Baby Shower in winter?

I am seriously considering a drive by baby shower in January, which is 6-8 weeks before my due date. The only problem with that is it will be really cold then. The weather that time of year can range from just cold and windy to a full on snow storm. We won't know until a week before what to expect. Is there any way I can do this successfully? I could potentially bump it up but it may clash with the holiday season.

I would honestly just do a really early one in November or early December. I wouldn’t want to be standing outside for an hour or two in the really cold while pregnant. You might not even have a coat that fits by that time! Lol

Honestly, I think the drive by sounds stressful for everyone involved with the risk of snow and ice. My sister’s in-person baby shower was in winter, and half the attendees couldn’t make it at the last minute due to weather. Schedule a short, virtual shower. Have your partner sitting right next to you so you’re not the only focus. My friend did this, and her sister-in-law quarantines so she could be there in person to decorate and cook to make it more special. It was really lovely.
