Stillbirth

My husband and I lost our baby boy 3 weeks ago at 27 weeks. The genetic results have concluded that nothing was genetically wrong with him (according to the technology they used) but they also found an early infection of e-coli on the side of my placenta that was facing him. My doctor wasn’t sure at first if this could have been the cause since it wasn’t a rapid infection but since he was technically healthy, we’re assuming an infection was the cause. Has anyone lost a baby due to an infection? Or know anyone that has had this happen to them? If so, what did the doctors do next time to prevent this from happening again? Were so heartbroken that this has happened and need some hope for the future when we try again. I know another pregnancy will not be easy but I’m trying to be hopeful that this was just a freak thing
