Hopeful mommy- Discharge?

Hello all! I found out I was pregnant last week, I believe I will be 6 weeks tomorrow but not positive because I haven't gone to the doctor yet. I've been having mild cramps since before I found out and today I noticed a little bit of brown discharge when I wiped. I've read it's normal and honestly I know I shouldn't worry to much since I actually had red blood spots with my son in my first pregnancy, it turns out I am O negative and needed a shot. I guess what worries me is the cramping, I didn't experience that with my son, so I can't help but be worried. I haven't gone to the doctor so I haven't got the shot, I'm going to try my best to go this week but with the Thanksgiving I'm not sure if it'll work out. Is any one else having the same problem? I would be so devastated if I had a miscarriage. Reading the comments on these threads comfort but also frighten me.

I'm 6 weeks today and I've been having period-like cramps since the day I found out I was pregnant. No spotting or bleeding though, so I'm trying not to worry about it. My first appt with my doctor isn't for 3 more weeks, but I'm going to call them this week just to make sure I don't need to be doing anything specific. I've also been experiencing a lot of constipation, so I think that might be contributing to the pain.

I'm almost 9 weeks and have period pains. I believe it's strecting out. Don't worry about it unless you have bleeding.
