What are y’all feeding your kids

What kind of snacks are you all giving your babes? I’m struggling to find healthyish snacks for my little guy that he will actually eat.

Pizza buns are a favourite here. Also yoghurt, fruits (kiwis, bananas, mangoes, apples, pears, clementines.. etc), berries, mini-sandwiches, pancakes, food muffins, cheese, peas,  freeze dried fruits, ham slices, eggs... I just take what we have at home.

Lots of fruit! Our girl loves bananas, so that is always our go-to. But she also enjoys strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries. She used to love avocado but lately has been refusing it. 🙄 I recently discovered Goldfish crackers made out of carrots and she really likes those. Veggie straws are also a big hit. We give her yogurt melts as “dessert” after dinner. There’s always the standard puffs and those things that look like cheese doodles. I bought a cucumber today and I’m hoping she will give that a whirl. She really isn’t a big veggie fan. We also have these fruit bars that I found in the baby section of the grocery store and I just keep one in her diaper bag in case she wants something when we are out. A really, really special treat is ice cream. She goes nuts for it!

My daughter is obsessed with bananas, so that is one of her snacks every day. Her afternoon snack is either yogurt or cottage cheese with fruit. She hasn’t taken to whole milk yet, so her doctor told us this was a good way to get her some dairy. We pretty much stick to those things for snacks, but avocado is another easy thing that she likes.

Literally anything off our plates. Breakfasf is usually oatmeal (adult rolled oats, not baby powdered stuff) or scrambled eggs of a veggie omelet. Lunch could be hummus or avocado toast, yogurt, veggie burger, diced veggies or fruit, or any dinner leftovers. Dinner is anything we are having - tonight it was stuffed peppers, last night was lentil soup.. we love fresh fish and sweet potato fries too. Snacks are usually a banana in the morning and an orange in the afternoon. Also did a breast milk and frozen fruit smoothie this week for the first time! Really anything goes and if he sees us eat it he wants to eat it too.

Both my kids really love bob's bars (pic below). For my 1 year old I break them up and give him little bites. They're healthy!

Our lo loves the organic oat and fruit bars you can get at Walmart. Makes me feel better about a snack on the go since it has really good ingredients.

Rotating snack foods for my daughter are: string cheese, graham crackers, crackers with hummus, any fruit, veggie or apple straws, applesauce, goldfish crackers, homemade mini muffins

Fruit & toast for breakfast. Lunch is usually cheese and crackers and fruit. And dinner is usually scrambled egg or pasta and we make a veggie purée in our magic bullet (spinach, avocado, etc).

Yogurt, cut up blueberries, applesauce (he recently discovered how to suck it out of the pouches like his big bro and is now obsessed!), PB on toast, banana, Cheerios, avocado and other snacks his bro eats: goldfish, Cheez-its, veggie straws.
Did I mention he only has two teeth?! 🤣 Strong gums!
