How does 7 lbs just go and come like that?
So I’m on a weight loss journey that kind of came to a stop for a minute because I got really sick with my asthma and had to be put on steriods which cause weight gain. Basically water weight, so when I weaned off that crap i dropped all the water weight.
At the beginning of my weight loss I weighed 176 and now I weigh 137
I weigh myself every other week but recently it’s been every other day or everyday because I’m freaking confused on what’s happening and bought another scale because I thought it was broken. I am gaining and dropping this 7lbs every other damn day.
I am on the same diet, the same medication (weight gain was due to PCOS and insulin resistance and I’m on metformin)
But no every other day I will weigh either 130 or 137. There is no in between. It has nothing to do with when my last meal was or the last time I took a #2 I’ve been paying attention 🤣 there’s no way I have 7lbs of food in me at any point
Is it normal to fluctuate 7lbs back and forth? It wasn’t that long ago that I stopped the steroids so it may take longer for me to get back on track with my weight loss. I also stopped working out because well, I couldn’t breathe.
But this 7 lbs thing 🥴
And oh yes I want to add here that I am very short, 4’11 just Incase someone is like “why are you still trying to lose”
130-137 May look way diff on you than it does me
I think 140 is actually right on the tipping point of being on the “overweight” range for me
My doctor wants me at 120
