Anyone have an owlet?

Question

We bought an owlet last night because my 1 week old will only sleep in her boppy pillow or on my chest. My friend is also offering for us to try her snuggle me organic pillow. I understand none of these are approved for safe sleep but I was hoping with the owlet it would give us some peace of mind while we work on getting her into the bassinet without anything extra. Thoughts? Thanks ladies.

I use an owlet but try to still get as close to safe sleep practices as I can! I just don't trust that the technology might not crap out at the worst time. I love my Owlet though!

The owlet has been amazing; helps me feel better. Also helped me realize last night that she was too hot when I got alerted to her high heart rate. Definitely worth the money.

We love our Owlet! The peace of mind it gives you in priceless. Our daughter sleeps in her snuggle me organic in her bassinest right next to me.

I swear by the Owlet. We had one for our now 2.5 year old and got the new version for our 10 day old. Like your baby, both of my girls prefer(ed) to sleep on me. The Owlet gives me peace of mind and an extra layer of protection.

I have an owlet and omg it has helped ease me so much! With my son I had PPA and never slept cause I was up watching him to make sure he was breathing so this time around we got the owlet to see if it helped and omg it’s made such a difference! I’m actually sleeping and not constantly worrying now! Also my daughter ends up sleeping on my chest most nights so I totally get where you’re coming from!

I use the owlet and I’ve had to let him sleep in the snuggle me with it on when we were first home. I had a semi difficult recovery. I had to sleep on the couch and that’s all we had that would go beside me. 
Definitely not “safe sleep” but just keep trying the bassinet mama! 
We’re finally at a point where we sleep in the bassinet until our first waking and then sleep in a co sleeper the rest of the night.
