Apartment Neighbors

not really sure what group to post this in but y’all i need some advice! we live in the top floor apartment, the way the building is set up we have a somewhat private entrance as in it’s just our apartment door and our bottom neighbors apartment door in the little hallway. the walls are pretty thin so sometimes i can hear a lot from all surrounding apartments. we have a dog who we pay extra in rent for every month and is well within the weight and breed requirements. everytime our dog runs back and forth or even plays with toys like her bones or tug ropes or rubber balls they bang on the ceiling super hard. my issue is that the noise is never super early or super late. the dog is usually active from about 11am-8pm. but obviously not all day long. we try to be as kind as possible and wait till mid afternoon to do any type of cleaning or make any heavy noise. these people will literally be banging on our ceiling at 3 in the afternoon because we’re walking around. They’ve already filed 2 noise complaints against us but have yet to ever come talk to us personally. my real issue is they have the audacity to do all that but are slamming their door at 2-3 in the morning, having screaming matches all night long. you can literally hear their children crying and yelling at them during this. they bang and slam shit like there’s a wwe match going on down there to the point our whole apartment shakes and things fall off the walls. idek what to do at this point i’m so aggravated and it’s obvious their just gonna keep making complaints.
