Treadmill or cross trainer??

I’m 7 weeks post op from ACL surgery, using a hamstring graft from my other leg.

I don’t have gyms near me, and the ground around my house is very uneven so risk of injury again

I ruptured my ACL and had surgery 7 weeks ago, using a hamstring from the opposite leg.

They usually recommend a stationary bike but I don’t like cycling

I also wish to lose weight and slim my legs and thighs.

I only want to walk at a fast pace on treadmill if I did have one even when fully recovered as I’m not a runner.

Which would be better? A cross trainee or the treadmill for at home workouts

Would a cross trainee bulk up my thighs and legs? I know that Rachel Attard the Australian fitness trainer doesn’t recommend a cross trainee for an emdomorph body type.

Does anyone have any suggestions which would be better to help me lose weight and slim my legs too? Also how often would I need to use?

Thanks in advance.
