If you ladies are alone all day with your baby, do you have the TV on? Like not once baby is the age where they would watch but my little guy is 2 months and I find myself just having it on as background noise when we play in that room

My son is 17 months.. and I am a stay at home mom and we have always had the TV on for most of the day. He really doesnt pay it attention unless I put on one of his movies.

I prefer music. It’s better for them developmentally. My husband is working from home now though, and he likes the tv on ALL the time.

I keep the tv on because A. He isn’t interested in it yet unless I walk in front of it while holding him. And B. I want him used to the background noise so he will be able to fall asleep in any situation which he currently does lol

I kept it on. I wanted there to be noise and for baby to get used to sleeping in any environment. Or at least that was the intention!

Alexa plays us music but we don’t really watch tv at our house at all.

TV off for the most part because I am working at home but we do it have it on sometimes when she is awake while we relax at night or on my lunch break.

We had ours on all the time until she started noticing it (around 18 months). Now it stays off unless it’s specifically screen time time.

I usually have coco melon on in the background for the music and just in case she pays attention to it for like 5 minutes, she’s at least learning something 😂🤷🏻‍♀️
