Sorry in advance for the long post🤦🏻‍♀️

Any mamas that had or have gestational hypertension or preeclampsia please help!! Thursday 10/29 (32+3)I woke up with an excruciating headache, seeing spots, and overall feeling off so I called my cnm to see what she suggested I do she had me take my blood pressure & it was 151/95 so she had me come right in. I got to her office and the nurse took my blood pressure and said it was very high but refused to tell me what it was. All she told me was “it started beeping at 180” so I have no idea exactly how high it was. She came back a few minutes later to take it again and it was still high but she still would not tell me what it was. My midwife came in told me there was protein in my urine so they were sending me over to labor and delivery for a nst and bloodwork. I got to the hospital had my bloodwork done and left a urine sample went to l&d for nst and when they took my blood pressure it was only a little elevated I wanna say 140’s/80’s . After an hour or so of resting they were able to get it down to 120’s/80’s. My bloodwork came back great and the on call ob at the hospital had told me there was no protein in my urine. I’m curious how I could have protein in my urine at the office but a few hours later at the hospital I don’t?? Anyways she decided to give me steroid shots to help baby’s lungs develop Incase I deliver early. She mentioned gestational hypertension but I don’t recall being diagnosed though my discharge papers say “reason for visit-gestational htn”. I was told I will being seeing my ob weekly now for bp monitoring and I need to be checking it from home daily. I was given my first shot and sent home but told to come back in 24 hours for my second shot. So next day rolls around I came in for my shot and my bp was 152/69. The nurse wanted to monitor me for a little and about a half an hour later it was down to 135/69 and I was given my shot and sent home. I have been taking my bp from home every morning and evening starting Friday and It’s almost always mid to high 140’s/ mid to high 80’s. My headache has gone away since Friday afternoon but I am still seeing spots here and there & feeling almost out of body. Have any of you ladies experienced anything like this? Is my at home blood pressure considered high? I see my ob on Tuesday for my 33 week appointment and ultrasound & I seriously can’t wait for answers. I have no idea what’s going on with me or if I should even be concerned but the fact that I was given these shots so early definitely makes me worry!!
