Blackout curtains for sons room, help?

I am looking for some blackout curtains online and I am having a hard time figuring out what size I should get..
The window is 45" L and 60" W 
My question is what width of curtain should I get for them to fit correctly? Sorry I feel really dumb for struggling so hard with this!

I always buy two, then sew them the length I want. At our new house I bought two panels and cut them in half and doubled them up. Then it’s like a double layer of blackout. No light gets in and it really helps keep the cold out. I put decorative curtains over the blackout ones.

Double your width. So, 2 60” panels. Usually standard size is 50”, so that would probably be fine too.

I always add 24” to the width. If you want 2 panels add 24” to your window width and divide by 2 or 3 if you want 3 panels and that gives you the width each panel needs to be.
