How is it being a mom?

I’m due in a couple of weeks with my first and I’m scared of being a mom. I’ve never been responsible for anyone but myself. How is it being a mother? Life is about to change in such a big way for me

It’s hard, tiring, stressful.
But also so rewarding and fun and you feel a love you’ve never imagined you could feel in your life.
It might seem like a never ending stressful cycle at the beginning, but once your child smiles at you or says I love you mom. Everything you went through is worth it.

I’ve always highly enjoyed it. I’ve had 3 kids. Some days are tiring but it never gets old in my opinion lol

I love it so much. The hardest thing is worrying about them. But it’s been amazing. Having a baby is so fun.

It’s the most stressful, tiring, 24-7 thing you could do.
But man I love it. I love the newborn stage and I try to give them all extra love at that point because it fades so quickly next thing you know they are crawling and talking and eating table food then they start walking and forming better words and then sentences. 
2 years go by quickly and then they are telling you things they don’t like and they are getting potty trained. Then off to school it feels like shortly after.

It’s equally the most challenging and exhausting but the most rewarding thing you’ll ever do. Don’t worry, your instincts will kick in. 
You have to take care of yourself, make sure you’re eating right and getting sleep when you can. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, your partner won’t always know what to do or when to help you so it’s not unusual to have to be direct when asking for what you need - not just expecting them to know. 
Honestly, the newborn stage was the easiest for me. Newborns are pretty much just eat, poop, sleep and repeat.

Well it’s tough and is super trying sometimes, but the love you’ll have for them will make it worth it.
