Just got diagnosed yesterday with it at 8 weeks. Didn’t have this with my first child.

Been having a bunch of brown spotting and mild discomfort where my implantation bruising occurred. Doc says it’s a hematoma and to expect spotting throughout the pregnancy but it likely won’t worsen.

She said increased chance of preterm labor and slight increase in chance of miscarriage. She didn’t seem too concerned and didn’t tell me to do anything special, just to rest and call her if my spotting worsens or I cramp.

I had one a miscarriage last spring, I’d be so sad if it happened again. Trying to not worry, it’s behind my control.

But I’m curious: What was it like for you to have this condition??
